The Davis Cup came to Glasgow in March 2009, and with a spotlight on tennis in Scotland, Colin Fleming teamed up with Ross Hutchins and we supported over 700 children to receive 6 weeks of tennis in schools in Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Glasgow. Over 300 children also took part in a design a water label competition in conjunction with Highland Spring.
The very best players from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales met at Roehampton to find out which is the best country in the British Isles.
Scottish finished 2nd behind a strong England team.
Judy and Jamie Murray took a break from their busy schedule to play tennis with over 40 children at David Lloyd Renfrew (in association with Highland Spring and the Sunday Mail)
The best 10U from the North, South, East and West Counties, battled it out at the Scottish National Tennis Centre in Stirling. Congratulations to West and South, who won the boys and girls competitions respectively.
